Community Renewal

The goal of our Community Renewal Ministry is to bring spiritual, physical, and cultural renewal to both people and our community by using everything God has given us to show the love and grace of Christ. Our desire is to see lives and cities changed by coming in contact with the life changing love and presence of Jesus Christ. Get Involved...

Palmetto House - provides temporary housing and facilitates the movement of homeless families and individuals to permanent housing. Come help us on the first Tuesday of every month we serve a hot meal to people living there. Domestic Abuse Council - provides emergency shelter, transitional housing, support groups, and advocacy for victims of domestic violence in the Volusia County Area. You can help by dropping off household items at the Community Renewal table on Sunday morning or by donating items to their thrift store. Port Orange Causeway Park - We have adopted this park through Park Partners, a volunteer program where the Port Orange Parks and Recreation Department partners with local organizations to help keep parks safe, clean, and beautiful.

Land of a Thousand Hills - The coffee we serve at Restoration comes from an organization called Land of a Thousand Hills and they partner with farmers and local community leaders to develop the coffee into a sustainable income, pay a just Living Wage, and strive to further meet the needs of the people in Rwanda, Hati, and other parts of the globe. Nicaragua Mission Trips - We have partnered up with an organization called Corner of Lovewhich leads medical, dental, and eye care teams and People To People missions to San Ramón, Nicaragua and more than 45 villages that surround it.
