Join us for Easter Sunday (at 10am, at the Hollywood Theaters, in the Port Orange Pavilion) as we look to Jesus and remember His resurrection. We’ll rejoice together that He conquered death and celebrate our new life in Him! After our Worship Gathering, join us for an Easter luncheon at Airport Rd. Games and crafts will also be available for all kids. We hope you can be a part of this amazing day with us! Please sign up to bring a side/dessert or Easter Eggs for the kids here.

Join us the first Beach Baptism of 2015. Have you trusted in Jesus for your salvation and not been baptized? Take this next step in your faith with us on Saturday, April 11th at 9am. Join us for Restoration's first Beach Baptism of 2015 at Winterhaven Park (4589 S. Atlantic Ave). Have you already made this public confession of faith in baptism? Please come celebrate what Jesus has done in the lives of those getting baptized. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come and support the people taking this step. Primary Passages: Matthew 28:18-20

Launching Discussion: Share with your group how you have tried to make this season of Lent (the 40 days leading up to Jesus’ death and Resurrection) and especially the week of Palm Sunday a special time to reflect on what Jesus has done for you?

Sermon Questions:

1. Have you ever made the connection that the same gate and wall Nehemiah was faithful to rebuild--was the same gate and wall God would have Jesus walk through to die for our sins?

  • How does Nehemiah’s faithfulness to follow God’s vision in his own life validate the point that even though God is in control of all things—what we do with those things really does matter?

2. In the talk, Pastor Anthony spent some time talking about how the S-Curve (1. Birth of an idea, 2. Growth of an idea, 3. Maturity in an idea, 4. Plateau of energy and possibly even decline) can be applied to any relationship containing a group of people laboring towards a common goal. Two specific examples given in the message were the Apple company and our marriage relationships. Take a few minutes to talk about how you perceived the S-Curve and share with the group a time in your life that you can apply the “S-Curve” to.

3. The last example given regarding the S-Curve was applied to Restoration Church. Pastor Anthony pointed out how by God’s grace and the labor of our people, we have arrived at our first maturity curve.

  • Do you agree with this statement? If so, please share why you feel this is true?
  • If not, please share why you feel this isn't true? What are some of the potentially negative side-effects of “maturity.”

4. How can calling every person at Restoration to be actively involved in being and making disciples help us to steer away from a plateau or decline?

5. What are some things you think we could be doing as a church, or are currently not doing that would help Restoration to continue to be a vital presence for Jesus in our church and in our community?
