This Sunday, we continue celebrating Advent!

Advent, meaning “coming or arrival," is a tradition that goes back to early Christianity and has continued up to the present time. At Restoration, we believe it adds great value to our understanding of what Christmas is really about. The Advent candles stand for the light of God coming into the world through the birth of His Son. Be sure to join us each Sunday as we light a new candle.

This week we light the second candle "the Candle of Preparation," preparing our hearts with the same attitude that was in the hearts of those at the time of Christ’s birth.
