RCPO WEEKEND UPDATE:
Hello RCPO Family!
By now you are well aware that Hurricane Irma will have some impact on our state this weekend and into the early part of next week. While we always hope for the best in matters like this, we feel wisdom mandates we prepare for the reality of the damage Irma could potentially cause.
Due to the unpredictable nature and size of Irma we feel it best that we suspend our weekend worship gathering. Over these past days, I’ve spoken with many of you and I just want to say---if you’re riding the storm out, please prepare as best as you can for this and stay tuned in to the direction of local officials at all times.
For those of you planning on leaving some time over the next days, travel safe to your final destination. No matter what your plan is be mindful that there might be people in your life who have need during these times. Should you find yourself with an opportunity to serve your neighbor, do your best to meet their needs. Serve them with the same love and compassion Jesus showed us.
